BRIDESTOWE Village Hall will play host to the village's annual music festival on Sunday. August 28.

A wide range of genres will be covered to suit everyone's taste, from classical music to rock and pop. Acts include Hannah and the Madding Crowd, Vanity, and the Devil Riders, fresh from their appearance in the Okehampton Battle of the Bands. As well as music there will be a bar and barbecue. The fun starts from 6pm until late.

Tickets costs £5 per adult and £3 for six to sixteen year olds in advance. Children under 5 go free. They are available from Treetops Pre-School on 01837 861761 or e-mail [email protected]">[email protected] the Fox and Hounds Inn or Riverside Stores in Bridestowe.

Tickets on the door are subject to availability at £6 per adult, and £4 for six to sixteen year olds.
