PEOPLE turned up in their hundreds to see what was on offer at the YHA Okehampton (Youth Hostel Association) open day on Sunday.

Between 500 and 600 visitors attended the open day to try their hand at archery, climbing, low ropes and to also take part in some bushcraft as well as enter in the dog show, raising money for Dartmoor View Dog Rescue.

People could also try their luck on the inflatable obstacle course brought along by the Army.

The day was also a chance for local businesses and charities to show people what they had to offer.
