OKEHAMPTON hosts a special visit to the South West by accomplished singer, songwriter and author Garth Hewitt next week. 

Garth Hewitt has been writing and recording songs for more than 35 years, and has released nearly 40 albums.

Sir Cliff Richard sang Garth's song 'A World of Difference' at Live Aid.

He is director of the Amos Trust, a human rights organization which he founded in 1985.

His songs reflect the stories of people throughout the world who he has grown to know over years of work, in particiular in South Africa, Nicaragua and Israel-Palestine.

Audiences can experience the world through Garth's songs on May 21 at All Saints Church in Okehampton.

The concert begins at 7.30pm — tickets are £5 on the door.
