PUPILS from Highampton and Chagford primary schools recently spent the day at Castle Drogo, getting festive with nature.
The pupils attended a workshop with Castle Drogo's community engagement officer Paula Clarke where they made Christmas decorations out of natural materials.
Wreaths, crosses, decorative items and a large garland were made from holly, ivy, pine cones and things that could be found on the castle grounds.
The decorations made by the children were then hung around the castle to help make it feel more festive.
Children at Highampton primary have spent the term learning about Castle Drogo, its history and how it was affected by the First World War.
