REDROW'S new Westcountry division has selected Okehampton- based Get Changed Theatre Company as its local charity to support throughout 2014/2015. Get Changed provides a unique service for adults with learning disabilities in mid and west Devon. Drama, dance and art are used as a medium for its members to develop confidence, make choices, develop life-skills and improve mental health. The charity was formed in 1995 and runs a programme of weekly workshops throughout the year, culminating in annual productions and performances. Redrow are supporting Get Changed at a key time, as the charity's most ambitious project ever gets underway. Based at Castle Drogo, Get Changed Makes History sees the company deliver a programme of performance, artwork and sculptural installations throughout the National Trust's 2014 visitor season. Mark Freeman, Get Changed trustee, said: 'We are particularly heartened by the enthusiasm which Redrow has demonstrated for our work and the company's willingness to be actively involved in engaging with and working alongside the charity and its members. 'As a volunteer-run organisation, knowing that we have Redrow's support will make a real difference to the work that we can do and enable us to focus on the delivery and quality of provision.'  Keith Miller, regional director for Redrow West Country, said: 'As Redrow West Country launches, we are proud to lend our support to Get Changed. The charity's unique work with adults with learning disabilities and their carers really stood out to us. We look forward to fundraising for the charity in various ways this year and into the future.'
