Wartime letters inspire Okehampton writer's novelThe choir is open to everyone aged 16 and over, with no need to be able to read music or audition to take part. Like all of Wren's five folk choirs, three folk orchestras and the Mandolin Orchestra of Devon, the open access group encourages people to make music and sing together in an informal setting. The groups aim to be fun, creative, challenging and accessible.
The new autumn term for the West Devon Folk Choir starts on Tuesday, September 17 at All Saints Church Hall on Market Street. The group will meet here every Tuesday at 7pm to 9pm.
