PLANNING consent has been granted by Dartmoor National Park Authority for the provision of new toilet facilities adjacent to St Mary's Church at Throwleigh.

The toilets will be constructed by converting a disused boiler room at the church.

Planning consent was granted conditionally by the DNPA, provided the roof of the building was covered in natural slate, fixed by nailing only. Samples of external materials for the building will have to be agreed by the planning authority prior to construction.
