NINE members of North Tawton Twinning travelled to Blangy Le Chateau in Normandy recently for a social trip.

The group travelled over night via ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff, then drove through the medieval town of Dinan.

They were hosted by their friends in Blangy, with visits to a cheese show in Pont L’Eveque and Bayeux, including viewing the famous Bayeux Tapestry.

The group enjoyed lavish meals, BBQ and a sampling of the local cider, wine and Calvados.

A spokesperson for the group said they returned to Roscoff via Mont St Michel and had a fantastic time.
