North Tawton Community Centre announced last week that there will be changes to the way that the centre is run as the organisation moves to become a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO).

The centre held a public meeting at the community centre on Saturday (February 25) to explain to residents why this change was being made.

A CIO is a form of business for charitable organisations and is unavailable to commercial businesses.
