THE latest production from Northlew Amateur Dramatic Society will be 'Building Bridges' which takes to the stage later this month. The comedy written by Colin Calvert sees the building of a bridge over a bog, though not everything goes according to plan. Questionable garden herbs, ASBOs, and a debut performance by one of the village canines promises to make for a night of fun and laughter. During the play a boardwalk is constructed on the stage. And the end of the play, one of the group has mysteriously disappeared, in a performance described as a kind of environmental comedy/whodunnit! The show will be performed at the Victory Hall on September 26 and 27, accompanied by a light supper, with the food on offer relating to the performance. Tickets are on sale from Elmfield, costing £9.50 each. For more information and tickets call 01409 221376.
