OKEHAMPTON Argyle Football Club secretary Charlie Bond will be resigning his official post at the annual meeting June 20 after a term of six years in the role.

Charlie says that this is mainly for family reasons, as he does not expect to have as much time available to assist the club next year.

He will not be severing his ties with the club entirely and is still happy to continue producing the programme and writing match reports for the Times.

If anyone would like to volunteer to take over the position of club secretary or would like more information on what is involved, could they please contact either Charlie on 01837 659279 or club treasurer Jim Burdus on 01837 53789.

Charlie will be happy to work alongside the new secretary over the summer to ensure a smooth handover or to share some of the secretarial tasks on a longer term basis.
