OKEHAMPTON were hoping to put last week's defeat behind them and apply some pressure to the league leaders.
They were boosted by the return of four key players and made a good start and looked threatening going forward, creating a few half chances before Mark Parsons opened the scoring with a reverse sweep through the keeper's legs.
Okehampton started to dominate possession as the opposition struggled to read their short corner routines; the second goal coming after a good short corner move found Greg Williams. who coolly flicked home.
Another short corner saw the hosts further their advantage, Parsons firing home after the defence allowed him too much time and room.
Cruising at half time Okehampton continued to control proceedings,m soaking up all attacks from the visitors with brilliant defending.
It was superb defending which led to the fourth, a stunning counter attacking goal, Sam Spry with a long pass to Parsons who ran from his own half to smash the ball over the diving keeper to make it four.
Williams turned provider to find Andy Paterson who made it five, Brett Lawson and Chris Luxton both having good chances also.
The away side managed to grab a consolation just before the end as Okehampton switched off with the match already won. Man of the match John Jarvis.
