OKEHAMPTON went into their last league game of the season knowing a win would give them a 100% record for the season.
The game started competitively with both teams sharing possession and neither side really able to create an opening. The home side started to play the ball around a little better and it wasn't long before they opened the scoring — James Speak scoring a reverse shot.
Okehampton then doubled their lead when Mark Bingham swept the ball home after a good move down the right. Andrew Paterson scrambled home a third just before the half time whistle.
The second half saw West Dorset pull a good goal back before Luke Miller missed a penalty flick.
Hayden Bond then made two stunning saves before Chris Luxton converted to wrap the game up for the hosts.
Goalkeeper Andy Harvey who was playing up front, had two opportunities but failed to hit the target. This was a good game which Okehampton went on to win, to conclude an outstanding season. Man of the match for Oke was Nick Luxton.
