The Okehampton Street Pastors held a coffee morning at Fairplace Church last Saturday (March 5) to celebrate five years since the Okehampton branch’s first patrol.
The charitable organisation organised the event to offer the public a chance to meet its members and thank the church which offered its premises as a base and provided the group with storage facilities.
Chair of the Street Pastors Julie Yelland also attended the event.
Street Pastors is a national charity which offers support to people out at night.
Since its establishment, Okehampton’s branch has directly helped over 200 people.
