OKEHAMPTON travelled to Topsham for a friendly game. Topsham started well scoring a try and then a converted try to go into a 12-0 lead fairly quickly.
Okehampton then started to play their normal game with Deane Andrew picking up the ball on the half way and running through to score under the posts. Winger Jordan Cornthwaite then ran down the line before crossing to also score under the posts.
From some good pressure by the forwards James Balch then scored, again under the posts, with Liam Wilkins converting all three tries.
The first half finished with Topsham scoring a penalty to give a score of 15-21 to Okehampton.
The second half started as the first half did with Topsham playing the better rugby and scoring two more unconverted tries. Okehampton did not manage to add any more points giving Topsham a 25-21 win.
