Oxfam’s Okehampton branch on Fore St is appealing for volunteers to help over the busy Christmas period.

Volunteers are needed to man tills, dress windows, sort through donations and update its social media pages.

Shop manager Jasmin Shelley said: ’Volunteers really are the heart and soul of our shop, and we rely on them and appreciate their contribution hugely.’

Anyone over the age of 14 can volunteer, but under-18s must have the consent of a parent or guardian.
