GIDLEIGH Park's celebrity chef Michael Caines MBE jumped on his bike to show his support for a charity close to his heart recently.

Mr Caines joined a static cycle race between Parsons Brinckerhoff and WSP to raise awareness and funds for the Familes for Children adoption agency, of which he is a patron. More than £400 was raised on the day which has been donated to Families for Children Adoption Agency to be able to continue providing the vital support needed for families who have adopted across the South West.
