PREPARATIONS have started in earnest for the 750th anniversary celebrations for Winkleigh Fair next July with a mass planting of daffodil bulbs.

Organisers want a lasting memory of the fair and will start planting this Saturday (October 15) at the primary school and spread out around the village. It is hoped the bulbs will the multiply over the years.
