AN appeal has been issued for volunteers to help out Jacobstowe Parochial Church Council.

The congregation at the village church is only small, and due to retirement and residents moving away, the church council desperately needs a secretary and treasurer.

There are only around three meetings held per year, which can be arranged at times to suit working hours.
