THE Salar Gallery in Hatherleigh is holding an open exhibition to help raise funds for Farm Crisis Network.

The exhibition will mark the launch of the print 'Market Day' from the original painting by Shan Miller. The painting was inspired by Hatherleigh livestock market soon after the foot and mouth crisis of 2001.

The print is a special edition, with only 173 being produced — the same number as cases of foot and mouth in Devon in 2001.

The exhibition will be open on Sunday August 14 between 2pm and 6pm, with cream teas being served in the courtyard from 3pm.
