THE Okehampton West Bridge Quilters presented a quilt last Thursday to RAPID UK, a charity based near the town, for its grand prize draw.

The director of RAPID UK, Graham Payne, received the quilt from Vera Whiting, Jenny Pratt, Pat Bowles, and Janet Humphries.

Geraldine Jury, the fundraiser and organiser for RAPID UK, said the quilt will be travelling with the support team to all the shows and events it attends.

The raffle, which includes many more prizes, will be drawn on Monday, October 5 2009 at Beech Lodge, Jacobstowe, the registered office of RAPID UK.
