ALL members are invited to attend the annual meeting of Okehampton Royal British Legion Social Club, which will be held at the club in Station Road at 8pm on Friday, November 21.

Jim Singer, club secretary, said: 'The statement of accounts, balance sheet, and financial report for the previous year will be available for scrutiny on the club notice-board at least 14 days prior to the date of the annual meeting.'

Any questions arising from these matters, and any items for inclusion on the agenda, must be submitted in writing to the secretary by no later than Friday, November 14.

'Anyone wishing to join the club, whether they have a service connection or not, may obtain an application form from the bar steward.'
