THRILLSEEKERS can test their mettle at a number of activities during Okehampton Sports and Fitness Festival.

On Saturday, July 13 adrenalin junkies aged ten and over can test themselves on a high ropes course, and on Sunday, July 14 can abseil off Meldon Viaduct. Both these activities are at a special price of £10 each. Places need to be booked.?For more details call Adventure Okehampton on 01837 53916.

The festival is also offering watersports at Roadford Lake on Friday, July 12 to develop windsurfing and sailing skills. There are two sessions, with places needing to be booked. Call the centre on 01409 221507.

The festival is shaping up to be the best yet, with a huge range of have-a-go sessions and competitions being planned from July 6 to July 14.
