Okehampton and District Lions Club celebrated the 36th anniversary of their Charter with a dinner and dance held at the town's rugby club with 104 people in attendance.

The event was supported by many other Lions Clubs from across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset with Lions Club president Mick Jones, guests, including the District Governor Lion Christine Rowe and her consort Peter Rowe, Mrs Heather Jones, town mayor Cllr Michael Morse and mayoress Mrs Mary Morse, Rotary vice-president Sarah Watts, Rotarian Russ Thomas, and Round Table chairman Lois Enderson and Mrs Angela Enderson.

The Lions Club of Okehampton and District expressed thanks to everyone who supported the event.
