DESPITE the wind and the rain, Okehampton Primary School's PTFA held its summer fair last Friday.

Due to the heavy rain the fair was moved inside, and was opened by town mayor Cllr The Rev Mike Davies.

The fair had the patriotic theme of red, white and blue, and as part of their non-uniform day, pupils dressed in the colours to get in the swing of things.

Children ran stalls selling cakes, books, plants and other goodies, and there was also a chocolate and sweets tombola.
