THE completion of patching works on the A3072 Hatherleigh road towards Highampton has been postponed until the New Year.

The patching works has been postponed due to the heavy rainfall before Christmas.

Preparatory works have been signed and will be maintained for the safety of road users throughout the Christmas and New Year period, with the road remaining open in both directions.

Work is rescheduled to commence in early January 2013.
