THERE's still time to get tickets for two of the hottest events at the Hatherleigh Festival, which help raise a large portion of funds for the event.

For those who have been unable to see Take That on their huge UK tour, the festival organisers have the perfect alternative — the premiere tribute act to the band, the Take That Experience.

The act recreate the experience of a live Take That show with replica costumes, energetic choreography and the music beloved by many. The 70 minute show will be packed with the band's greatest hits, including Back for Good, Relight my Fire and Could It Be Magic.

The concert takes place at the Hatherleigh Community Centre on Friday July 29.

On Sunday July 31 the one-man show 'Two Halves of Guinness' will touch and amuse the audience as it gives a touching and insightful portrayal of one of Britain's greatest ever actors, Sir Alec Guinness.

Mark Burgess' lively and funny play sees Trevor Littledale offer an uncanny portrayal of Guinness reflecting on acting, faith, family, and personal insecurity, played to a background of the golden days of British film and theatre.

Tickets for each event cost £10 and are available from Hatherleigh Pottery or Hatherleigh Papershop. Alternatively, call the box office on 01837 810624.

Ticket sales for these events help to keep the rest of the festival free, so organisers hope to have as much support for these events as possible.
