THE Easter weekend sees the return of the Ruby Country Market at Hatherleigh this Saturday (April 19). The Ruby Country Market was set up in 2012 to recreate a bustling, traditional market in the heart of the community. The 40-stall food hall boasts some of the best award winning local food and drink available, and a choice of English, Spanish and Japanese cuisine will be available outside from fast food vendors. There will be a range of stalls selling a wide variety of goods and wares, from crafts and gifts to things for the home and garden — with an emphasis on local product, and quality. Musicians will provide entertainment throughout the day, and youngsters can enjoy a bouncy castle. As in previous years, the market will support the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, and their stall will be just inside the food hall. The market will run from 9am to 2pm.
