THE staff and sixth form pantomime Beauty and the Beast, performed to packed audiences at Shebbear College and all agreed it was the funniest show to date.

Two fairies, a princess, the traditional villain, and, of course, a very camp dame all provided much laughter and 'Oh, no he didn't, Oh, yes he did, fun'.

A colourful set design by head of art Ashley Barlow and first class direction by head of sixth form Eleanor Bearpark ensured a successful two nights.

Karen Purdew choreographed the rugby 1st XV in a very funny interpretation of The Dance of The Sugar Plum Fairy.
