CAT lover Keeley Hoad will be doing her bit for felines in need when she takes part in the Brighton Marathon to raise money for the Okehampton and District branch of Cats' Protection.

Keeley, 39, formerly of Northlew but now living in Kent, will be donning her running shoes for the 26-mile course on April 12.

Keeley said: 'I am a great supporter of Cats' Protection and wanted to help in any way I could. The Okehampton and District branch does a great job caring for cats so I see taking part in the Brighton Marathon as an excellent way to help them raise much-needed funds.'
