A PESKY satellite-navigation system led to one poor lorry driver getting his vehicle stuck up an Okehampton lane for seven hours last week.
A Co-operative articulated lorry became wedged between the narrow hedges and a low-lying tree on Darkey Lane at 5,30am last Wedenesday after the driver's satellite navigation system had taken him along the narrow road.
The lorry was stuck for almost seven hours before it was eventually pulled clear of its predicament by recovery vehicles.
