A CONCERT in aid of St Bridget's Parish Church, Bridestowe, will be held on Saturday March 19, featuring the Exmouth Shanty Men. The event will take place in Bridestowe Village Hall, beginning at 7.30pm.

The Exmouth Shanty Men will be singing sea shanties and forebitters, work songs written to make hard work tolerable, so an evening of brilliant entertainment is guaranteed.

Tickets, available from Riverside Stores in Bridestowe, or via 01837 861539, are £7 for adults, £3.50 for children, and £18 for a family of two adults and two children. The price includes a pasty and a drink of cider, beer or a soft drink.
