AROUND 116 members and guests enjoyed the Chagford Show annual dinner held at the Fingle Bridge Inn last week.

Chairman of the show, Jonny Lentern, expressed thanks to all those who supported the show, which raised £2,621 for Help for Heroes.

A cheque was presented to the South West organiser for Help for Heroes, David Gammall.

Mr Gammall said: 'All of the money raised goes into supporting our service personnel.

'We are very grateful for your help and the donation goes towards the many projects we have in providing facilities to assist the injured to recover.'

This year the show has a chosen Devon Air Ambulance as its charity.

Fundraising started during the evening with a prize draw and an auction of donated plants.

This year the show will be held on Thursday, August 19.
