CHAGFORD Singers will be giving their Easter concert in Drewsteignton Church on Saturday, April 4 at 7.30pm.

They will be performing Rutter's beautiful 'Requiem' and Steiner's dramatic 'Crucifixion.'

Soloists Heloise West, Steven Phillips and Mark Boocock join the choir, with Christopher Fletcher conducting and Jonathan Watts at the organ.

Tickets cost £10 in advance and are available from Sally's Newsagents in Chagford and Drewsteignton Post Office; also by post from Betty Beer on 01647 432484 or £12 on the door.

The Singers are also looking forward to performing 'The Armed Man, a Mass for Peace' by Karl Jenkins in Moretonhampstead Church on Saturday, July 4.

If you enjoy singing and would like to take part in this concert, the choir invites people to join them at their rehearsals every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm in Endacott Hall in Chagford.
