EXCITING nine piece band The Kingstons are a contemporary ska set up based in West Devon who have a fresh, unique sound incorporating an eclectic blend of influences.

With the motto ‘ska for the soul’, The Kingstons are currently setting the South West alight with their feel good brand of dance music, with the entire band contributing to the writing of their own original songs, painting pictures of life in today’s Britain, drawing on influences including soul, jazz and blues, to create a modern ska sound for 2016.

The band members are just as eclectic as their influences and range from students to old timers with a wealth of experience to tap, including all the old favourites from the likes of Madness, The Specials, Bad Manners and the old school Trojan hits.

The Kingstons promise you a great night of feel good music that will leave you hot, sweaty and Ska’d for life and will be performing at The Wharf Tavistock this coming Saturday, October 22.
