LAST Thursday saw the second event of the Okehampton CC Summer time trial series.

On a dry but cool evening an excellent field of 21 riders turned up from around the area to ride the 10 mile course which traces the old A30 road from Bridestowe to Lewdown and back.

Steve Sage (Southfork Racing) took the honours with a time of 24.37 followed by Adrian Littleton (One and All CC) on 27.33.
