IDENTICAL twins from Okehampton have started their own business at just 11-years-old.

Ethan and Keiron Findlay have been rumoured to be the town’s answer to Alan Sugar and Richard Branson following the launch of their own business.

The budding entrepreneurs were inspired to set up a business selling soaps and toiletries after spending years working with their aunty at table-top events selling brick-a-brac.

Their mum, Michelle Findlay, said that Ethan and Kieron came up with the idea to sell gift-wrapped soaps all by themselves.

‘I was so surprised when the boys said they wanted to sell soaps,’ said Michelle.

‘They love spending time at table-top sales with their aunty so they wanted to start there own business to make themselves a little bit of pocket money.

‘They borrowed some money from their Nan to start up their business. They used the money buy soaps and toiletries — which we help them to buy online and then help them gift-wrap.

‘Ethan and Kieron pick out all the products themselves, often choosing the soaps they say look “cool”, then work hard by attending various markets in order to sell them.

‘They also use Facebook to let people know about their business and are looking into creating an E-bay account.’

Mum Michelle added that she was delighted with the twins’ enterprising skills and ambitious attitudes and was ‘extremely proud’ of her sons.
