THEIR first game of the season saw Argyle away to last year's league champions. Stoke Hill started slightly the brighter side and a good save from Arron Dearing kept the score level.
Argyle soon settled and started playing good football and creating some great chances. Just before half time Argyle deservedly took the lead when a good cross from Tallan Burns was tapped in by Ross Voaden.
Argyle continued their good form into the second half putting the home side under constant pressure. An excellent pass from Ben Bickle set Ross Voaden through to lob the keeper and provide Argyle with their second goal.
Defenders Ben Barkwill, Ryan Gross, Ben Jarvis, Jack Davey and holding mid field player Rhys Palmer kept the defence solid throughout the game and denied Stoke Hill any chances.
An excellent all round performance from Ben Bickle nearly gave a third goal when his shot rebounded off the bar.
Ollie Crimmins, who also had a great game, secured the third for Argyle with a good run and shot into the bottom corner.
This super team performance gave Argyle an excellent start to the season. Man of the match Ben Bickle.
