THE latest production by Belstone Players is bound to provide a hilarious evening of entertainment.
The amateur dramatic group is hosting a series of supper theatre evenings at Belstone Village Hall from Wednesday, February 4 to Saturday, February 7, with two one-act plays and a two course supper during the interval.
In the first play, 'A Little Box of Oblivion', four very different characters theorise over the contents of a mystery box left in the park by an attractive young woman. The humorous interplay between characters will keep the audience guessing right until the end as to what the box may contain.
In the second play, entitled 'Last Tango in Little Belstone', the Little Belstone Amateur Dramatic Society is in major trouble. With only four members and audiences not much bigger, if they fail to come up with rent money soon they will be thrown out of their home. The results end up providing some adult humour – all in the best possible taste.
Tickets cost £10 to include supper to be served during the interval. Curtain is up at 7pm with a licensed bar from 6.30pm. For tickets call Marion Walpole on 01837 840498.
