OKEHAMPTON Camp will host an energetic outdoor event for charity on Saturday, June 18.

The Children's Hospice South West Corporate Challenge takes place at the camp, with teams from businesses across the South West competing in a variety of outdoor challenges and adventures for the Corporate Challenge Cup and Corporate Challenge Shield. Competitors take part in either the 'challenge level' of difficulty or face the tougher challenge of the 'extreme level'. The day will end with a celebratory feast and a prize presentation ceremony.

Teams of 4-6 people from local businesses still have time to enter the competition.

There is a £35 per person registration fee, with a bike and helmet provided for an additional £10. Each team needs to pledge to raise at least £1,500.

Last year's event raised £30,000. All the money raised will go towards making the most of life-limited children, and supporting their families.
