IN the January 31 edition of the Times, an article appeared on the temporary closure of Moretonhampstead Community Hospital.

The hospital has been temporarily closed to inpatients, not outpatients as incorrectly stated in the report. To mitigate the impact of the closure, the trust is opening extra beds at Okehampton Community Hospital. Additional community health and social care nursing and therapy staff are also being provided around Moretonhampstead.

All other clinics and outpatients sessions at the hospital will continue as normal.
