PUPILS at Okehampton Primary School showed their mothers how appreciative they were, by buying gifts for Mother's Day at a recent Mother's Day event.

The event, held by the PTFA, enabled the children to 'secretly' buy a gift for their mothers. More than 600 gifts were sold and the PTFA raised more than £600 — not including two nights of successful discos enjoyed by the whole school.
