DISTINGUISHED author and lecturer Dr Paula Nuttall will look at the art, architechture and artefacts of 15th century Venice in a day of lectures in Okehampton on Wednesday, March 5.
The day of three lectures and a light lunch has been organised by the Dartmoor Decorative and Fine Arts Society.
Dr Nuttall will take visitors on a fascinating tour of the Venice of Bellini, Carpaccio, Giorgione, Titian and Mantegna, looking at their portraits and alterpieces, the wonderful buildings that housed them and the cultural artefacts of the period.
The lectures take place at Okehampton Rugby Club, with registration at 10am with coffee and tea, followed by the first of three lectures at 10.30am. Parking is free.
