THE annual South Zeal Big Weekend returns later this year, bringing back the summer ball after a two-year absence.

The ball takes place on Friday July 6 in South Zeal Recreation Ground with a three-course waiter served meal, and live music from The Feel Good Factor, a five-piece party band that plays energetic, fun music.

Over half the tickets for the event have been sold, so organisers recommend purchasing tickets as soon as possible for £30 per person.

Money raised from the ball will go toward the maintenance and upkeep of the recreation ground.

The South Zeal Beer Festival and the Zale Fayre also take place that weekend, and the ten pub walk will pass through the village.
