SUPPORTERS of Diabetes UK in Okehampton tested their grey matter with a big quiz at Wardhayes Care Home.

The quiz was held to raise funds for the charity and promote diabetes awareness week.

Sportsmen and women living with diabetes featured among the diverse and interesting questions set by quizmaster Martin Perry.

The quiz was won by the 'Northlew Devils', closely followed by 'The Posh Team' from Wardhayes in second place and 'PBM' from Sourton in third.

Waitrose kindly donated a hamper as the prize for the winning team, which was presented by Andrea Bolt. Other prizes were donated by Boots, Beanfeast and Okehampton DIY.
