LIBRARY goers can experience all the fun of the fair at Okehampton Library on November 24 when author Kay Townsend visits to talk about her new book.

'Wartime on the Fairground' charts the life of showmen during the second world war and includes many stories of fuel and prize rationing as well as photos from survivors and archive material that has never been seen before.

The event takes place at 7pm and tickets, costing £2, can be purchased in advance from Okehampton Library.
