AN INTERGALACTIC triumph in the shape of Star Wars, Episode 4 1/2 . . . The Last Hope, was sold out at both performances in the Octagon Theatre last week.
The Get Changed participants entertained the audience with outstanding special effects, costumes, props and menacing characters wielding light sabres.
The show — a parody — provided hilarious one liners and several songs not usually identified with Star Wars!
There was plenty of audience participation as people were invited to help blow up the death star by aiming a beach ball at it.
Just one of the comments heard during the night was: 'Wow what an amazing performance! Everybody had so much fun.'
Get Changed's mission is to raise the profile of the disability community and change public attitudes towards those with disabilities by creating and performing high quality arts projects.
There is no doubt that they achieved this with Star Wars this month.
