THE original guitarist, singer and main songwriter in the British rock band The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell, has enjoyed massive success with ten hit albums and 21 top 40 singles.
He etched himself into the musical psyche of Europe and the USA as the voice of such classic songs as Peaches, No More Heroes, Golden Brown, Nice N’ Sleazy, Always the Sun and Duchess.
Hugh’s latest studio album Totem and Taboo was released to rave reviews.
Recorded at Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, the album was engineered and mixed by the legendary Steve Albini.
Hugh Cornwell will be appearing at The Plough in Torrington on Saturday, November 7.
