THREE people were trapped in vehicles following a collision on the A386 at Follygate on Tuesday morning.

Fire crews from Okehampton and Hatherleigh and an ambulance crew attended the collision, just before 11am, between two private cars.

They used hydraulic cutting equipment to release two people trapped in one car and one person trapped in the second. One was taken to hospital by air ambulance and the other two by land ambulance.
