RAINBOW Pre-school children enjoyed a morning of fun and games at the Charter Hall in Okehampton recently to celebrate its 10th anniversary and launch a new collaboration.

The morning saw Entertainingly Different getting everyone on their feet for dancing, singing and drama.

Eve Oliviera then calmed the children down with some gentle toddler yoga before everyone enjoyed home-made cakes and tea.

The morning ended with singing nursery rhymes and Christmas songs with Brian Higbee and his guitar.

Parents who attended said there was a fantastic atmosphere and fun was had by all children, parents and staff.

The event was to launch Rainbow Pre-school's collaboration with Community Links, based in Okehampton.

Mary Lovell, manager at Community Links SW, said: 'Community Links is a not-for-profit community interest company.

'We work alongside schools and other agencies to support children, young people and families.

'In spring 2015 we will be taking on the management of Rainbow Pre-school to continue to provide high quality early years education and ensure sustainability for the setting.'

From January, the pre-school is offering extended opening hours for funded two and three year olds. Rainbow, due to its recent good Ofsted inspection, now accepts 2gether funding for two year olds.
